About Us
The Alive Center was founded on December 1, 2013 by Senior Pastor Antonio Screen. He began this ministry with just a word from God. He did not have any members, a building, or a real clear understanding of the plan and purpose of God! It all began when Pastor Screen rented a community event center for several Sundays and began having a service called "The Encounter". Every Sunday night, dozens of Souls were saved, and the lost found their way!! From there God opened another door, one of the supporters allowed us to use their living room for service. God's presence filled the house. Bodies were healed, and many souls were saved! Thirty days later God decided to show His favor for faithfulness by blessing The Alive Center members with their own facility.
Currently, we have five properties with an approximate total of over 40,000 sq. feet, which includes a 800 seat sanctuary, 300 seat fellowship hall, Youth Center, Clothing Store, Event Center, Auto Detailing Spa, Resource Center, Alive Academy Child Development School, and much more. Our ministry has broken down traditional and social barriers in our community by creating a diverse, multicultural congregation. Exhibiting a clear view of what an assembly of believers should look like with a loving, non-judgmental, and come as you are approach. We are now one of the fastest growing churches in south Georgia.
Within our 1st year we served our community with giving over 1000 families book bags and all their school supplies to have a great start for the school term. We also feed over 1000 people on the morning of Thanksgiving day. This including all the homeless and low income families that could not afford a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. We continue to strive on a daily bases to be the place of Help, Hope, and Healing for hurting people!
In 2017, God bless the ministry to make history with a major Expansion! We opened 3 new locations in 3 weeks. A huge act of fact and vision. We now have locations in Macon/Warner Robins Ga, Winter Haven/Lakeland Fl and Kissimmee/Poinciana FL. Also offering Bilingual services for English and spanish. We are currently developing a 12,000 sq ft Outreach Center that will service our community will all type of needs and assistance. We are NOT just a ministry but a movement!
